Hello, WORLD! Why am I here? What am I doing? And Why do you care?
Well, I’m here because I can’t – literally, I just can’t, it’s not in my DNA – sit by and watch our amazing country slip into such disarray. I love this nation, I love our country-values, and I love our people – and there is so much fighting right now that neither side is listening. As a psychologist, I know a thing or two about listening and connecting people. So I’m here to see if I can make a difference – if I can plant the seeds of unity…in a country stunted by chaos.
I’m hoping that by connecting people and sharing stories, we can better learn, understand, and relate to each other. Growth isn’t achieved by telling people what to do or how to think – it’s attained by working together toward a common goal and understanding each other.
Regardless of political party affiliation, our nation has become so negative and there is so much animosity that our country is intra-fighting at a dangerous level. For our safety as a nation and our growth as a world leader, it is imperative that we re-connect and unify. We are the UNITED States of America and we need to act like it. In the wise words of Abraham Lincoln, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” We need to inspire people to unify, to be one nation.
